”Born on 15 August 1913 in Perieți, Ialomița, he was tonsured a monk in 1949 in Antim Monastery - București, having Protosinghel Petroniu Tănase as tonsure Godfather. One year later, on the 26 September 1950, he was made a priest for Mănăstirii Slatina - Suceava, where he underwent a life of ascetic works as a spiritual father, egoumenos and disciple of Father Cleopa Ilie, the staretz of that monastery.
After many years of prison and persecution he was a priest in Ardeal for a while, then the staretz of Cheia Monastery and a spiritual father in Cernica Monastery. And from 1976 (up to 19 July 2011, when passed away) he was the spiritual father of Sfânta Maria Monastery - Techirghiol.”
